Michael Madden Chartered Engineer, B.E., P.Grad.Dips., MIEI, MCIArb

Michael is a Chartered Engineer with over 9 years of experience in the wastewater industry. In addition to working with customers to provide solutions for their on-site wastewater treatment requirements, Michael provides assistance and advice to engineering project staff on designs and installations of on-site systems.

Michael has worked on drainage projects ranging in size from single-houses to municipal wastewater treatment systems. He is also an experienced Site Characterisation Assessor, and is a recipient of the FETAC Certificate for Site Suitability Assessments for On-Site Wastewater Treatment Systems.

Michael graduated with a BE in Mechanical Engineering and post-graduate Diplomas in Construction Law & Contract Administration, Statistics, and Environmental Engineering. He is an active member of Engineers Ireland, and works to protect the consumer and to promote the role of the Professional Engineer in on-site wastewater treatment. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Waldemar Debowski B.Eng., P.Grad.Dip., MIEI, MIAH

Val is the Engineer responsible for the Installations and Servicing Department of BioCycle Ltd., with over 8 years of experience in the wastewater industry.

Val is responsible for all aspects of the installation and servicing of on-site wastewater treatment systems, and has particular experience in troubleshooting and upgrading existing installations for existing and prospective customers. Val is an experienced Site Characterisation Assessor, and is a recipient of the FETAC Certificate for Site Suitability Assessments for On-Site Wastewater Treatment Systems.

Val is a member of Engineers Ireland, having graduated with a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and a post-graduate qualification in Environmental Engineering. He is a member of Engineers Ireland and also a member of the International Association of Hydrogeologists.

Peter McNulty Chartered Engineer, B.A., B.A.I., M.Eng.Sc., MIEI

Peter is a Chartered Engineer with over 10 years experience in the water and wastewater industry. Peter specialises in accurately assessing customer needs and engineering bespoke solutions to ensure the delivery of cost-effective and environmentally sustainable solutions.

Peter is equally at home advising, designing and building on site wastewater projects for a single house or working on commercial projects suitable for hundreds of people.

Peter graduated with a B.A., B.A.I. in Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering and has a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering. He is also a member of Engineers Ireland.

Gabriel Koncal MSc.

Gabriel is a Mechanical Engineer with over 8 years experience in engineering consultancy and project management. He is responsible for on-time and on-budget delivery of projects. In addition, he is responsible for quantity surveying and for implementing our internationally accredited Safety and Health Management System. In keeping with our dedication and commitment to first-class Safety, Health & Environmental practices, the organisation has won multiple contractor recognition awards including Outstanding Safety, Health and Environmental Achievement Award, ROSPA Gold Standard Award in the UK and the NISO Occupational Safety Award in Ireland. Gabriel holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering and has a certificate in Managing Safely in Construction.

Shane O’Flynn H.C. (Cons Mgt.)

Shane is a Contracts Manager with over 5 years experience. Shane specialises in managing the construction, upgrade and periodic maintenance of single house wastewater treatment systems, commercial wastewater treatment systems and pumping stations. Shane is in charge of contract management of such works and for ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standard possible.

Furthermore, Shane implements our internationally accredited Safety and Health Management System for all tasks undertaken by the organisation. Shane graduated with a Higher Certificate in Construction Management. In addition he has numerous qualifications in construction-related Occupational Safety and Health.

Marcin Ostrowski MSc.

Marcin is an Environmental Engineer with over 4 years experience in site remediation and project management. Marcin is responsible for all aspects of the installation and servicing of interceptors, drain isolation valves, grease traps, rainwater harvesting systems. Marcin holds a Masters of Science Degree in Ecological Engineering and has a Certificate in Managing Safely in Construction.
